Reuters reported that more than 41 container ships were stuck outside the Belgian ports of Antwerp and Ghent on Monday due to a strike by pilots, which is to continue on Tuesday, the port's chief pilot said.
Pilots, who are not members of trade unions, are protesting against pay and working conditions.
