Broström's Fleet Increased

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

April 9, 2003

The new product tanker Bro Gemini, 7,600 dwt, has been delivered, and will serve as a part of Broström's portfolio of cargo contracts. The fifth vessel in the Broström fleet was delivered from the Dutch shipyard Ferus Smit BV. The four other vessels are BRO GLORY, BRO GRACE, BRO GLOBE and BRO GALAXY. Three similar vessels are on order and are expected for delivery later this year and in 2004. After the completion of this vessel, the Broström fleet totals at eight vessels. The vessels are long-term chartered in and is part of a co-operation between Broström and Erik Thun AB. Each company also has a 25 percent ownership of the vessel.
Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
