Fueling the Future of Ports: Cost Savings and Resilience as Propane’s Proven Edge

Ports across the U.S. are learning a critical lesson: depending solely on government grants or an increasingly unstable electric grid is no longer enough to keep operations running smoothly. There’s a smarter, more cost-effective solution already proving its worth on the ground - propane. The exclusive webinar ‘Power & Performance at the Port: How Propane Moves Maritime Operations Forward’ - to be held October 16, 2025, at 11.00 AM ET - will bring together energy and maritime specialists…

Digitalization: Leveraging Digital Innovation in Offshore Energy

There is an increasing expectation that oil and gas firms can demonstrate their value and efficiency through more data-centric processes, managing costs and reacting more quickly to changing market conditions. While the sector has typically been slow to adopt digital innovations, today’s offshore energy markets are fluid and fast-changing, and the ‘business as usual’ model will not necessarily yield the best future results.AI, automation and data-driven solutions are helping companies across industries to reduce costs, improve efficiency and cut emissions.
BWMS Webinar May 17: Inside the InTank Solution

In a webinar on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, Giles Candy will present the advantages for ship owners and shipbuilders with the Scienco InTank Ballast Water Treatment System. The Scienco InTank BWTS treats and neutralizes ballast water in the ballast tanks during the voyage, which allows for normal ballasting and de-ballasting operations in port. It is the only Type Approved “in voyage” ballast water treatment system.A small percentage of ballast water is circulated from one ballast tank at a time. The active substance, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), is added to the circulation and returned to the tank.
Join the Webinar Now: 5 Easy Ways to Ruin Your Offshore Equipment: Lessons Learned in Hydraulic Maintenance

It’s easy to skip critical maintenance tasks, especially when operational budgets are being reduced. Are you prepared for the risks to vital equipment? Right now, taking steps to assess and prep your equipment so you reduce downtime later can help pay dividends when offshore activity ramps up. It’s also far less costly than equipment replacement.Click Here to Join!In the world of industrial hydraulics, this process should start with your hydraulic fluid — a topic that, unfortunately, is easy to overlook as it relates to maintenance.
