The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a notice stating that it was withdrawing its proposed shipyard safety regulations relating to scaffolds, welding, access, and fall protection. The reason for the withdrawal was that there are higher priority projects that require attention and the proposal needs updating.
