Ship Structure Committee, Volunteers Wanted

The Ship Structure Committee (SSC) is currently recruiting volunteers for the SR – 1463 “Challenges to be Faced by the Arctic Ships” research project. Project Technical Committee (PTC) Chairman is Chao Lin of MARAD at 202-366-1847 or chao.lin@dot.gov. MARAD is the funding agency.

Anyone interested in participating as a member of the PTC for this project should reply to jeannette.y.grant@uscg.mil and the PTC Chairman.

The SSC has a short time frame to prepare a new Statement of Work, announce the contract, review proposals and award this contract by September 25, 2009.
